"WORLD OF CG ART" KURASHIKI CABLE TELEVISION NEWS, AUGUST 19, 2021
asashi Iwasaki lives in Kyoto and is currently enrolled in the graduate school of Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts. His exhibition features about 10 works such as abstract paintings and sculptures drawn with computer graphics. This work, which is made by stacking thin wooden boards, can be seen as if it were a stratum or a profile of a person. In addition, this is an image of Mandala that symbolizes the world of Buddhist enlightenment, and is drawn with computer graphics. In this exhibition, he is particular about the arrangement and decoration of his works. The atmosphere of the venue is utilized in the exhibition by fitting the works in the window frame of Gallery Jurou in the exhibition hall and arranging the works using the shadow of the lighting. Mr. Iwasaki's exhibition will be held at Gallery Jurou until the 22nd of this month.

崎正嗣さんは京都府在住で現在、倉敷芸術科学大学の大学院に在籍しています。作品展にはコンピュータ・グラフィックスで描いた抽象画や彫刻などの作品およそ10点が並んでいます。細い木の板を重ねて作られているこちらの作品は、地層のようにも人の横顔のようにも見ることができます。また、こちらは仏教の悟りの世界を象徴する曼荼羅をイメージしコンピュータ・グラフィックスで描いてます。この作品展では作品の配置や装飾にもこだわっています。展示会場のギャラリー十露の窓枠に作品をはめこんだり照明の影を利用し作品を配置したりと会場の雰囲気を展示にいかしています。岩崎さんの作品展は今月22日までギャラリー十露で開かれます。
